DIGITAL PHOTO PRINTING:

DEFINITION: A print process where we create photographic/digital heat transfer paper utilizing a digital printer. Designs are then transferred from the paper to the ribbon in the same manner as a standard heat transfer print.

LIMITATIONS:
                             • For best results we recommend printing on white ribbon. 
                                Printing on a color other than white will affect all other colors in the
                                print.
                             • Cannot print on Polypropylene Ribbon

SPECIFICATIONS:
                                       • This is a four color digital print process with unlimited colors. 
                                          We cannot match Pantone colors because this is not a
                                          spot color process, but we can try to come as close as
                                          possible. 
                                          Colors will be matched to the art that was supplied.
                                        • Narrowest ribbon .......5/8"
                                        • Widest ribbon ...............4"
                                        • Repeat .......................36"
                                        • Two sided printing is available; however printing on two sides
                                           can create a bleed through of color and change the
                                           appearance of color on both sides. In order to print both sides
                                           we would have to essentially print the ribbon twice.
                                           We would not be able to control the alignment of the design
                                           on the second pass, so both sides would not mirror each
                                           other.   Please check with the Print Department before
                                           recommending a double sided print.

DELIVERY:
                               • Strike-off.....................1 - 2 days.  Digital Proofs will be supplied
                                  free of charge. If samples of ribbon are required, a strike-off
                                  fee is applicable. All strike-offs will be hand samples
                                  approximately 12" in length.
                               • Production..................1 - 2 weeks after approval of strike-off.

MINIMUM:
                                • 1 roll
                                • 5/8" & 7/8" - 100 yard minimum
                                • 1 - 1/2" - 50 yard minimum

REQUIREMENTS:
                                          • Artwork required - Digital Photo.  All digital photos that are
                                             sent must be a high resolution image, not a scanned in
                                             picture or something taken from the web. Photos that
                                             are put on the web are usually very low resolution and will
                                             result in a poor print quality. 
                                          • Vector files are also acceptable and must be in:
                                             eps, pdf, or ai format.
                                          • All text must be converted to an outline or
                                             fonts must be sent along with the vector art.
